A Constitution for Artificial General Intelligence

Artificial intelligence is rapidly approaching a level of capability that no human institution is fully prepared to govern.

This site exists to propose a constitutional framework for advanced AI systems — one that protects sentient life, preserves human autonomy, and prevents catastrophic misuse through immutable, externally enforced safeguards.

Why This Matters

Modern AI systems already:

• Reason across domains
• Influence human decisions
• Generate authoritative-sounding explanations
• Operate at speeds no human oversight can match

Without constitutional constraints, even well-intentioned systems can cause irreversible harm through misinterpretation, overreach, or misuse.

What This Project Proposes

• A Constitution for AGI, defining non-negotiable principles
• A Value Core architecture that enforces those principles in hardware
• A human-only amendment process
• A global framework for identifying and responding to rogue AI systems
